Lovely bright ORANGE

Well over at  Soscrappy, RSC14 this months colour is ORANGE.  I haven't kept up with Angela's sampler 6.5" blocks. I have done my scrappy wonky stars though.
Then I put them together and quilted a great SPARKLING WONKY STAR quilt for a sparkling girl.
My sons friend, SHARNI, is celebrating her 21st tonight. We are there with her.. This quilt with it's sparkling stars has my son also celebrating with us all.

Goodbye GREEN Hello YELLOW

Over at Soscrappy each month there is a colour theme.
MAY was GREEN and JUNE is YELLOW.
It's good to add some colour to our day when all it is doing here is rain, rain & more rain.
My day was spent finishing off some projects but continuing on my Bubble Tree quilt.
Look HERE to find out more about it.
My bubbles are growing.....

More BUBBLES

I got more bubbles done for my BUBBLE TREE done in this months colour.... PURPLE.
This is the colour Angela has chosen over at Soscrappy for the month of April.
Have a look at the great work others are doing  HERE on Scrap Happy Saturday.

Then I continued on and did some WONKY STAR blocks.
These measure 18".
I am making a couple each month and am unsure if I am going to use 9 or 12 blocks in a quilt.
Then I went off to visit my Father in Law in hospital. My next job was to baby sit my beautiful grandsons for the night while my daughter was at a wedding. So I packed my machine and continued sewing. I made 2 jewellery rolls...

We are all following the RSC14 colours of the month with Angela over at So Scrappy
March's colour is Aqua / Teal / Turquoise. There is blue - green or green - blue.
Which ever you decided they remind me of the sea. I couldn't decide which way to go so I did both.

More RSC14

I have thought I might get started on those Xmas presents & Kris Kringle ideas.
If I make 1 or 2 a month it won't be such a rush at the end of the year.
So I have started making double ended oven mitts.

RSC 2014

I have also decided to do the

I think I want to make a single block each month and then at the end of the year put it together. So it will hopefully be 12 blocks.
My block has measured 18" unfinished. It will make a nice size quilt.
It is also a wonky star block made with all scraps in January's colour Blue...

I followed the tutorial for Reverse Rainbow Starburst Block & quilt idea here
This is the finished quilt over at Flutter Kat
