Helping a blogger

Always wanting to help out a fellow blogger.
Crystal was making alphabet letters out of the matching patterned fabric.

She was a bit short.
I had these ideas.
J-- Japanese
K - Kiwis
N - Noah's Arc Animals
T - Trucks, Teddies
Z - Zips, Zoo Animals

So I posted them to her.

So I sent a 2019 Calendar

Catch up with friends

I know you have seen these photos before but here they are again.
THANKS FOR THE PHOTOS SHEZ
I was setting up a day to catch up with SHEZ  and to meet CHERYL
Cheryl was my Xmas in July partner and seeing how she meets up with others I now know I wanted to meet her in person too. I didn't want to miss out. So a day to Maldon was planned or so I thought.
As we know the best planned days get changed and we ended up in Ballarat. Well 6 of us met up.
We had a fun shopping day. The stores will never be the same again. I wonder if we will be let back in... We did have some fun though. Yes I did meet the lovely Cheryl too.
Oh wow, Cheryl and I getting up to mischief
Shez is a lovely person and friend

Oh where is the sneaky Shez

My new Thimble swap

I have seen a lot of swaps around but this one was different for me. It was for a Thimble. How cute...
This is where I have signed up.
http://wisdomwithneedleandthread.blogspot.com.es/2015/04/thimble-exchange.html
Go take a look...
I have seen many pretty thimbles around and a lot of them can't be used but how nice would it be to get one sent to you from across the world. Especially from someone you don't know.
This is the only special / decorative thimble I own. I bought it when I was on holidays in the UK....
I think it was BOURTON ON THE WATER. A pretty little village with a pretty little gift...
It has a cute decorative thimble, a beautiful pair of scissors and pin cushions for your needles. I just love it... It sits on the table next to me and I use it regularly....

So I signed up....

MY PARTNER is Sheryl from
 http://sewingafterseven.blogspot.com.es/2015/04/stitching-again.html.
Look at the thimbles that Sheryl owns. What a great selection. Sheryl likes to get thimbles that show or say where they are from. Well the one I am deciding does just that. It is a large country town / city that is near to where I live... Hope I can get the one I have seen. ( this will bee shown in a later post )

My blog turned 1 today

HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY to me
Well this time 12 months ago I entered into an unknown world called blog land.
This was my FIRST POST and boy have I learnt a lot.
I have stayed up late lots of nights reading and looking at other blogs. I have linked up with regular groups about lots of different things. I have participated in lots of swaps, enjoyed heaps of tutorials but most of all the support I have been given is amazing.

Thankyou everyone for your support, help & friendship.
Keep those comments coming. I love them.

I did get to the Lincraft sale and boy did I shop...

Bolts were piled up on the counter. Then I emptied bolt after bolt.
57 metres of white and cream tone on tones came home with me.
No excuses now. My machine will be sewing.
I wore myself out, they are still in the boot of the car. I'll unpack tomorrow.
