Placemats Galore.

 These placemats only measure approx 10” * 13”

It all depends on what size wadding scraps I have.

Out comes the yellow scrap 

Choosing which ones to use first.

Start sewing them to the wadding.

2 yellow done

Now for some aqua/blue

Plenty of binding

And 6 more aqua / blue.

So my total is now 22 out of 50 goal done…..

I have passed these over and now I’m told they are too small. Next ones are to be a bit bigger so I’m going to try 11” * 16” and see how I go.

 

Slow stitching my blue Kawandi for RSC

 I have been enjoying a few relaxing nights/days doing some hand stitching. 

I am working on my tablecloth and there is not much to do.

You can see in the centre, the navy blue section, is all I have to cover in

All covered now. Let’s get sewing

When I started to sew a while back I was drawing the lines. Then, clever me thought, I don’t need to draw the lines I will just sw round and round. It will be ok. Ummmm NO it won’t. I went crooked, close together and up and down.

So now I am back to drawing the lines.

Scrappy blue day with a touch of RED

It's SCRAP HAPPY SATURDAY progress time.
I try to keep up with Angela over at Soscrappy and follow and make all the blocks she puts up in her RSC 14 SAMPLER.      WONKY GOOSE STAR BLOCK in scrappy reds.

I have done this months block for my 12" block swap partner Anna.

She wanted this BEARS PAW pattern

 Then I managed to get done my May-June blocks for Kilmore Quilters Honour Quilt.
I still have to do another 4 blocks to catch up.
I am doing mine in scrappy blues.

Kilmore Quilters HONOUR Quilt with Maree

I have just caught up on our group, Kilmore Quilters, last meeting.

There are about 31 members who are joining in the Honour Quilt Sew a long. Maree's is letting us know the 4 blocks to make each month. She has chosen 49 blocks, size of 6", that she has paired up with a person that passed away in the war. All these people she has chosen are from our local area of Pyalong, Broadford, Kilmore, Wallan etc....
