Slow Sunday stitching my counted linen embroidery

I have dragged out my embroidery that has been hidden away in the cupboard for months. Well, when I looked back at my posts it hasn't been worked on since March 2014. It is on my UFO resolution list. I was in the mood for this type of stitching. This is where this project began...
Where I am up to with the embroidery

Pattern from Christine Bishop
This is where I am up to now.... Progress... Both borders are complete.
I finished the inner and outer border
Let's see what I feel like doing next...

Slow Stitching Sunday

Well, I have finally got around to taking a photo so I can do a post of my Slow Stitching Sunday.
I am linking up with Kathy and the lovely stitchers over at Kathys Quilts.
There are some links to some amazing pieces of work.
Here is what I was working on.
It is slow going but it will get finished.
A lovely piece of counted work designed and taught by Christine P. Bishop.
Have a look  here to read more about it.

Christine P. Bishop. South Australia

I have just been on a Needlework cruise with  Needlework Tours 2014  around New Zealand..

It was a great cruise with fantastic organisers for the 350 stitchers that went. There were people from all over Australia, the U.S & even New Zealand.
Well done to Simon, Maureen, Claire & Ivan. You did a great job organising 21 tutors & 63 classes.
Their 2015 tour is heading for Singapore from Perth, Australia.
Head on over to the above links to see what it is all about.
It's well worth it.

I was lucky enough to participate in a 2 day class with Christine P. Bishop. from South Australia.

There are lots of other classes, projects & kits you can see her about.
Christine taught our group some beautiful 15th Century counted linen work.

I definitely have some homework to do.
This is what I have done so far
