What a week......

I just don't think luck is on my side this year.

My hubby is doing well, I thought my foot was slowly easing... Haha.

Well, I put a stop to that. 

Monday night I rolled my ankle, yes the sore one, and fell. Now I have a fractured ankle..

After a Drs visit, X-rays and then a trip to the hospital I came home with a half cast on.

The plaster only covered the underneath side of my leg until the swelling went down a bit.

My neighbour brought over some beautiful flowers.

I have to go to the fracture clinic at the Northern Hospital next week, if I can get an appointment, to see what they say...

Meanwhile I have knitted another jumper for my SIL. Oops a photo will come tomorrow... And have been working on my Xmas X stitches..

What have I been doing

I have had a great quiet week at home. So one day I cleaned out my wardrobe. I filled the rubbish bin too. Why do we hold on to things that ar old, torn, stained and don't fit?  I don't know!!!!

I also spent 2 days outside weeding, digging out stumps, having a bonfire before the restrictions came in and just a general clean up.

Now for something fun

Catching up on some finishes. Getting things out of the cupboard and stitching.

So here I have 24 finishes for OPAM......

 Put them in with a dishcloth and my little gifts for those unexpected moments are ready.

Now to finish these decorations.

I have my parcel wrapped for tomorrow's friendly group at Gisborne...

FNWF.... OPAM.... FRIDAY FROLICS

I got stuck into finishing my knitting projects.... They were knitted last month but not finished til now....
I had to sew up 3 beanies. Sew in the ends on a feathers scarf and 9 dishcloths...
It kept me busy but they are now a finish....

I was very lucky on Friday night to be staying with a blogging friend.
One who won't be photographed and can't be named.... Haha.
More about her on my next post thou..... Aaaaggggghhh the suspense......
We did spend some time sewing and stitching together though.
After lunch at a lovely cafe, a tour of the area, visiting 3 patchwork shops, spending some money and then back for a beautiful meal and a lovely evening here is the sewing photo.
