A QUICK POST TO SHOW I AM STILL HERE

OKAY. I am doing a very small post now knowing my parcel has arrived. My friend Linda who blogs at https://linda-koshka2quilts.blogspot.com/ (I haven't worked out how to insert a link yet)last year showing her village in the UK spread Xmas cheer by placing little angels around the streets.I decided to make her some to help a little with this years cheer. I also sent her an early Xmas gift of the pot holder/mitt I made and recipe cards. I know she loved hem cause to told me so.... HAHA
I just had a ZOOM meeting with my daughter and her friends. Remember the old tupperware parties and Avon consultants.. Well now we have BRA fittings by ZOOM. As it is breast cancer awareness month annd we need to spread the word... why not do it by Zoom. Lauren was very helpful and is doing a private zoom chat/fitting with me too. I have not studied the net for the style of bra but I am definetly going to try one. They do promise free exchange of any item purchased so if you get the size wrong you can exchange it. My daughter is very happy with hers. I know I struggle to find one that fits in the usual stores. I might even consider holding my own virtual ZOOM BRA party. Any purchase is contributing a percentange to breast cancer awareness. If any one wants to know more let me know.. Go have a look https://www.intimo.com.au/ Do a self check or go get your routine check done. Dont put it off. I am due for my mamogram now..

Happy mail

wow.. My postie has delivered some happy mail.
So first up I received a parcel from the UK. I had no idea what it was but was very excited to open it.
I have been talking to Linda from http://linda-koshka2quilts.blogspot.com.au
We have swapped many emails and it is very nice to talk to someone who lives near where you have holidayed or been through the same as you.
I have been working on crazy patchwork projects and Linda thought she would clean her stash. Wasn't I lucky...
Here is what she sent me.... Now to use it.

Look at these beautiful Laces. I am sure I can use them in my CRAZY PATCHWORK.
THANK YOU SO MUCH LINDA

Then on the same day I received my parcel from ???!???
It was from CIJ.
My Xmas in July partner....
I recognise the address. I have sent something to her before. Do I snoop... No... RELAX.
WAIT UNTIL THE 25th....... OK
I have not opened the package. Yes, I will wait.....

Happy mail

A while ago I as I was reading blogs I noticed Linda making crochet blankets.
http://linda-koshka2quilts.blogspot.com.au
I have this cute pattern I make so I contacted her and sent the pattern with a sample. Can you see the row of cats...

In return to say thankyou Linda sent me this sweet little package. A bag Linda uses for her phone charger. Not sure what I will use mine for yet. It is a handy size. A cute fat quarter and a sweet needle case.

Thankyou Linda

The whole venue was such a treat for all of us.
It was amazing and I hope to get the chance to do this again with the special friends that I have made this weekend.
Thankyou Millrosie group.
And a special thankyou goes to SHARON from
SHARON was the lovely lady who organised this wonderful weekend for all of us. Yes she was supposed to be there to share it wit us but unfortunately had some health issues. If there is another one, I'm sure she will make sure she will be there. And so you should.
Thankyou for giving me the opportunity to have a great weekend......
