What have I been doing

I have had a great quiet week at home. So one day I cleaned out my wardrobe. I filled the rubbish bin too. Why do we hold on to things that ar old, torn, stained and don't fit?  I don't know!!!!

I also spent 2 days outside weeding, digging out stumps, having a bonfire before the restrictions came in and just a general clean up.

Now for something fun

Catching up on some finishes. Getting things out of the cupboard and stitching.

So here I have 24 finishes for OPAM......

 Put them in with a dishcloth and my little gifts for those unexpected moments are ready.

Now to finish these decorations.

I have my parcel wrapped for tomorrow's friendly group at Gisborne...

My little scrappy SATURDAY and some little finishes

I worked on the last of my XMAS cards today. I used up some tiny pieces of xmas greens and made some cards with fabric trees on them.

Still in the mood to finish off these XMAS decorations for my friends on Monday.

Got them all done so my XMAS shopping and present list is done.

Here I gave finished some reindeer candy canes and crochet SANTA faces.

A little more sewing for the day.

I am following Deana with her quilters Garden row by row mystery.

This month we have the pinwheel flowers.

Just to show I have started here are my first 2 blocks nearly done. All I have to do is applique the centres on. They were fairly easy if you can manage a correct seam all the way through. My seams were straight and precise when I sewed my strips but not when I sewed the triangles into a Hexie. 

I got there in the end with a few extra seam lines put in...

Look at this mess. Who knows what is under there. I have swaps to do, secret swaps, swaps received and XMAS presents to complete.

Tonight I have been working on something fun.

Some BEADING.

I do not really do beading but I thought I would give this a go.

It was harder than I thought and it took forever. I think 4 hours.... Like I said, I'm not very good at it.

More crochet

To add to my stockings and bells I have made SANTA FACE badges.

All I need to do is add a pin on the back.

They are quick & easy to make and look so cute.

What do you think of this lovely little Santa face badge my mum crochet for me.

She has made quite a few of these.

And then I was given a pair of hand knitted socks. They look like they have a fair aisle pattern but it is all in the wool. No changing colours. 1 ball only.
