More Christmas cards made

While I had my Xmas paper sorted I thought I would make a few more cards.

I used a tree die and bell die.

Had some fun with some glitter glue and bling dots.

Just used a bit of sparkly cord.

That’s all for this year.

Card making time

This year I thought I would make a few Christmas cards to send off with a letter inside. I didn’t send any last year so I wanted to put in a bit of effort this year. A lady from my quilt group made some beautiful cards for some birthdays and also did a tutorial. Sadly I was not able to attend. But, I am now able to get out a bit. A visit to her house was arranged for a quick lesson.

On the way home I stopped to buy the base cards and envelopes.

At home I cut out enough to make 10 cards.

Here they are stitched.

Now to get them in the post.

Merry Christmas

We had a great day yesterday for our Christmas lunch.

Our daughter, son in law and grandsons were here for lunch. We had a quiet time for a few hours.

Started with the gifts of course. Then moved on to chatting and nibbles while lunch was cooking.

Ready to eat lunch.

Some people just don’t like having their photos taken.
Time to have a laugh then say goodbye.
It was good to have Tony home and we could relax.

Hope everyone has had a great time with their loved ones.

Halloween & Christmas

I went into Spotlight to see if there were any bargains this week. No sorry, out of luck this time..
But what I did see was the decorations for Halloween..
They are so much fun..

Oh my word.
We haven't even got over Father's Day and there are Christmas gifts already on display and for sale.

I think it is too far away to be seeing these now.
