MUG RUGS GALORE

I have been very busy making MUG RUGS for my local quilt group.
We were asked to donate some things for the trade table & some for gifts.
After searching Pinterest I noticed they were very popular.
I have made mine 8" x10"

These 2 I have used scraps and added a pocket for that sweet treat.

Then I started using up my strips

HAVING FUN with MUG RUGS

Playing with FLYING GEESE

Trying a TWISTED BOW TIE

SPINNING PINWHEELS & PRAIRIE POINTS

MORE MUG RUGS

Cups of tea anyone

And not forgetting the coffee lovers

CHOCK-O-LATTE with a friend

I have decided to use this quilt as my entry in the Kilmore quilt show
Chocolate & Roses

My friend and I started this quilt at the same time and we set deadlines for when each section was to be finished. She lives interstate so we would get together every few months to start the next section/border.
It is now complete.

My Daughter & Grandson Xavier

My daughter came for a visit with my sick grandson Xavier.
What a cutie playing with our Brio train set.
And then exhausted in his mothers arms.

PAINTING

I am painting my house inside and am half way thru.
Gone is the yellow & in with the cream.

My 1st months PAPER PIECING block swap

I am so excited today as I have just received information about month 1 in my Paper/Foundation Piecing Block Swap.
I am to make a circle of flying geese for Anna.
Here are some links to view until I actually get the block done and post photos.

I just came across this easy to follow site for free patterns.

September 12" block swap

My partner this month was Cathy.
She asked for a 9 patch in scrappy purples & a solid black centre. Hope she is happy with my choice of fabrics.
Cathy will cut it back to a 12 1/2" block & make a disappearing 9 patch.
