The last of the RED & in with the BRIGHTS & PASTELS, no dark greens allowed

I have caught up with all the RED SAMPLER BLOCKS for the month of JULY..
The new colour for August over at http://superscrappy.blogspot.com.au is.  BEIGHT GREEN. I am struggling with this colour so as yet haven't done any blocks        .
Here are my last few blocks.

This one looks a little pink but it is red.

The lucky last block is here......

Now we are in AUGUST we are working on Bright, Pastel GREEN. NO DARKS ALLOWED  ........
Catch up with Angela and the new colour at http://superscrappy.blogspot.com.au

I have my grandsons overnight and they turned up wearing the great jumpers my mum had made. My mum is recovering from cancer and many other things and has just got back into knitting.
These jumpers are so good and the boys look so cute.

So we have eaten and now watching Harry Potter. The boys are happy and nearly ready for bed.

I am knitting lots of dishcloths. They are easy to pick up and put down, don't really have to count...

Your reds look fabulous! If you don't have lights and brights, feel free to "cheat". It is all about using what you after all. Great looking dishcloths. I tried that pattern last year but ended up with a diamond shaped cloth. I guess I need more practice.

What lucky grandchildren surrounded by all that love. The sweaters are adorable, as are the boys. The quilts and afghans are all labours of love perfect for cuddling while watching Harry Potter. Great red blocks.

I don't have any pastel greens and I used the rest of what I have in the May blocks . . . so I am going with blue-green in August.

LOVE those photos of the boys!

Sorry to hear about your mother. It is good that she is knitting again and I love the sweaters. I love the blocks you are making - very pretty and nicely done. I also like your dish cloths. I crochet them because I don't knit much -- love them!

Love your red blocks. Those knitted dish cloths are so fun to make... I agree - mindless knitting is a good thing and that pattern is so easy. Love the knitted jumpers... I have never tried a sweater. Hope the knitting is helping your Mom in her healing.
