Machine maintenance time

Well, it doesn't seem that long ago I cleaned my machine but a picture tells a thousand stories.

I opened the bobbin area to a mess

WOW, making my own felt

Sideways photo

That's quite a bit

That looks a lot better

And I thought that I haven't sewn much at all.
Now time for a new needle and off we go again.

Doesn’t take long for the machine to need a good clean….

Oh my goodness! I was told that every time I change my bobbin, I should clean under it. I've never seen my machine get that bad.

Ugh!! Mine gets a quick swipe when I change the single hole throat plate to the wider one. Does build up quick though, so I try and keep it clean. Take care & hugs.

I can relate to that. Fluff builds up my so quickly. I’m trying to make myself clean my machine once a month. So far it is working. I don’t change my needle every time, though. That only happens if it starts to give me grief. You’ll be zooming along now.

Snap! I've been busy all weekend but this week I hope to get on with some sewing, so time to clean the room and the machine again.
