My travelling stitching was also some sashiko.
1st block finished
Sitting sewing at Coober Pedy caravan park.
2nd block finished
Working on the last larger block did my head in. See how the waves go from side to side and another set goes diagonally. Well, do you think I could stitch the correct direction.
I got so far then went on a different angle. Mmmm.
That’s ok, I can stitch back to where I was supposed to be and continue on.
Well I got confused again and I don’t know where I stitched so I am just going anywhere now.
Set up in my home away from home

Sashiko is looking good ... sometimes I'd like directions with an order of flow to stitch the design :)
Perfect travelling stitching. No one will know what direction you stitched, unless you tell them. The blocks are looking good.
Unless the sashiko police come looking at the back - it doesn't really matter! as long as you cover each stitch all is good!
Love it!
It's always great to have a traveling project or two while on holiday.
Your sashiko looks lovely Jo. I really enjoy the rhythm of this kind of stitching but I must admit I go all over the place. When it is made up into something you cannot tell anyway (I don't think you can I should say) 😉
Lovely Sashiko stitching and they ALL look great.
Looks like a great portable project. So long as it's your needle that is taking wrong turns and not the driver you're all good.
I love them all Jo. I can't wait to see what you do with them.
