The next weeks blocks to be done are
H9.
I just had my nails done and found hand stitching hard. Therefore I couldn’t really hand appliqué the diamonds on so I went down the route of fpp. All machine done and I think it worked out ok. Quilted and ready to join to the next block in the row.

This block was made years ago so I just had to quilt it.

I love your new block......and the other is pretty cute too. Such a good idea to do quilt-as-you-go. I notice more and more ladies at our sewing doing projects that way now.

I like the idea of quilt as you go, and I'm looking forward to seeing how all the blocks are joined together. I made a simple QAYG quilt many years ago and didn't really like the look of the joining process. Perhaps ways and ideas have changed over the years.
