I am still here.----- NOW FOR QUILTING.

I can't believe it has been so long since I have posted...
I have all the excuses as everyone else..
Busy, sick, not motivated, can't be bothered, tired, lazy, cold, tired, etc........
THE LIST GOES ON.
I have been doing little bits of sewing but not a great deal. The knitting and crochet has been on my lap. I'm not a fan of coming home from work in the dark. All I want to do is sit curled up under a quilt. I have been reading blogs and enjoyed what everyone has been doing.
I am home sick at the moment and the knitting needles are clacking away.
I have also joined up with
and have joined in their bookcase swap. More about that later.
Anyway, back to basting.
Here are just 2 tops that I have ready for quilting. another 6 to go.

I have been very busy basting all the charity quilts that have been made.
8 so far that need quilting. Once done they will be passed on to other members for them to do the bindings.

Well I know that I am going to be very busy getting them quilted.

I'm loving how the butterflies just dance all over the quilt. Fun!

Love the butterflies. I haven't posted for quite a while. School let out, and it's been so nice outside, we are finally into summer weather.

I had been wondering what was going on in your life, so pleased you’re back blogging. Sorry to hear you’re off work sick - flu? Tomorrow is our longest day so perhaps it’s your shortest? If so the nights will begin to get shorter and you’ll find yourself coming home from work in the light. 😊 Love all the work you’re doing on the basting and quilting fronts: I dislike basting ( all that crawling about on the floor) and don’t mind basic machine quilting (once I’ve managed to get the wretched walking foot on the machine!!! However, I really enjoy hand quilting and binding! Get well soon. ☘️

Hope you are feeling better.
Two nice quilts for you to quilt.
Do you spray baste your quilts?

Hi Jo! Nice to see you again. Those long nights do sap the spirit, that's for sure. Surround yourself with those lovely quilts and you might brighten right up. Hope you're feeling better and deep into getting those quilts done.

Glad that you are back. We’ve missed you. Your butterflies do look like they’re dancing and the squares look to me like hopscotch, hopping around the quilt., Especially the polkadots.

Sorry you are feeling unwell. It's hard to fit everything in when you are working. All your quilts are lovely x

Hope you are feeling better. Rhonda’s Brian has had a couple of trips to hospital following a prostatectomy. She’s having to drive and bend to do some of the housework he usually does. It’s been bloody freezing down here. Take care. Xxx

I love those butterflies! Sorry you have been ill. I have too and it is not fun. It throws a damper on things.

Sorry it is dark when you come home. Our past winter was a pretty hard one.
