I have been a bit distant lately and now it is time to catch up. I haven't sewn for quite a while.
Our group had a sit n sew at our local SPOTLIGHT store.
There were 7 of us for up to 4 hours. Sitting sewing, chatting, knitting and talking to customers.
It was a good day.
As you can see I was working on the baby quilt from the ones I have shown finished.

How lovely to be in Spotlight sitting and sewing. I loved the Spotlight store in Nelson, NZ.
So nice to have a change of scenery to sew in.
It's always NiCe sewing with friends...& you couldn't run out of supplies...lol

Sounds like fun! I haven't been to a Spotlight that had space for sitting and sewing. It's a good idea though.
Sounds like a fun day, I bet you and your friends created a lot of interest amongst the customers and staff.

Hello Jo, great to be back seeing what you are doing in these trying times, it just feels so sureal in precautionary isolation. Luck we have our quilting and Im sure a lot of UFO's will be completed. I didn't know Spotlight did some craft sit ins,would be fun.Stay happy and well.Jen xx
