Fiddle cloths finished

I have 3 small finishes. They are A3 size. The size of a hand towel. In fact that is what is on the backs of them.

These are fiddle cloths made for our local aged care unit. They are given to people with dementia and similar disabilities. While they are sitting or laying in their chairs or beds they can just fiddle..

one for the guys and two for the ladies.

and behind the flap is a little kitten peeking out

there are beads, buttons, lace, leather, wool, keys, a zip, wool, felt, elastic and clips. Different fabrics too to fiddle with.

Those are fantastic. I love that you've made them specifically for men and women.

Many years ago I made something like this, though not understanding the concept the thing was HUGE and the home mounted it on the wall at wheelchair height so the residents could mosey down the length of it.

These are a wonderful idea and I'll bet they're thoroughly enjoyed by the recipients. That kitten is a happy surprise.

Well done for making these. Our group made one each a few years ago. But our group leader found it difficult to find homes for them. I’m not sure what happened in the end so it’s good to hear yours will be welcomed.
