Sewing with friends

I had some friends stay for the weekend.

We had a mini workshop making our Kris Kringle gift for our Xmas break up dinner. We were to make a mug bag and mug rug, following the same pattern.

Here is what we made following this tutorial.       Mug Bag & Mug Rug Tutorial

We had fun making them and can’t wait to see what everyone receives.

That’s a lovely idea, to sew together at your house. I remember our club’s Break up lunches in NZ. Some lovely memories. Kiwis are great at turning up with delicious dishes for the Potlunch! I expect you’re as good over The Ditch.

Sounds like fun, and the results look good. I like the idea of a Kris Kringle where everyone makes the same pattern.

That is my idea of a sewing room - a room that fits friends!

A great idea to do them together - they get done that way.

I've been a very bad blog reader - I've just skimmed through your November posts - imagine!!! a Licoroce shop - yummo - love your scrappy & charity projects, the Irish chain style where you are looking for the navy & the sunflowers.
Lots to keep you busy.
