My CHOOKSHED challenge this month was to make some project bags. Well I have started with a zippered pouch using Tony’s chocolate wrappers. I used an iron on vinyl on the wrappers then just added the zip, loops and a lining.
The other side
And 2 wrappers become one pouch. My friend suggested we use it for Tony’s medications….
Next up was a project bag … a Riley Blake Design producers.…. My Happy Place by Lori Holt … Be in my Bonnet. The directions on the panel explains how to make the pouch without lining. I watched and followed her tutorial HERE that has a lining BUT the seams are exposed.
I found some pretty red fabric to use as the lining.
It went together really easily and quick. It’s a handy little size.
Next up was a larger pouch.
It has a lining too.
No exposed seams.
I watched this TUTORIAL which showed a great way of finishing the bag and lining
I am loving them
Don’t these look cute together.

Tony’s wrapper pouch looks great and would be perfect for his meds ….
You’re having fun making those sweet pouches..
Goodness! What are you going to do with the rest of the month?? I love the pouches but especially Tony's ! Very clever
Lovely little pouches. Who would have known you could make one with chocolate wrappers!
Great wee bags Jo. Thank you for all the linkies.
Estupendas bolsas. BESICOS.
They are just wonderful Jo - well done!! Just love them. A girl in our craft group made a pouch using a pretty paper serviette - I think she may have mod podged it on to some calico first. Amazing what you can do. xx
They are all great little pouches, but I especially like Tony’s. You are very clever to figure it all out using the wrappers
Great use of those chocolate wrappers - you should send a picture the chocolate company. The project pouches look lovely too and always nice to have hidden seams. xx
lovely pouches! i used up all my zippers and made 4-5 last year...i'm done now...
Fabulous pouches! I love how Tony's one turned out. Such a fun idea :)
I hope Tony loves his pouch as much as we all do.,...LOL
I really love the second one...the fabric is great
They're lovely, your chocolate paper bags... I especially like the big loops.
I've already sewn something similar and now feel like doing it again...
Your other two bags are also great and I think there has to be food - right.
I went from sewing bags to quilting...
Kind regards to you from Viola
Such "sweet" bags from the chocolate packages. And that seems a perfect match for Tony's meds. :) I have saved some candy packaging and instructions for this type of bag, but never get around to making them. Kudos to you.
And your project bags are just lovely. They look so professionally made!
Well done Jo, lots of cute little bags, glad to see someone is stitching away!
Oh my goodness! Sew Darn Cute!!! I love the ones made out of Tony's wrappers!!
