When I was in Darwin at my brother’s there was a fabric shopping day.
I found out that there was a sewing shop 6 minutes from my brothers.
Just Stitchin @ Humpty Doo
Yes, I bought some goodies. I found out that on Fridays they have a sit n sew morning. I just might join in.
Then off to Dragonfly Fabrics. It doesn’t look like much when you drive up. Nearly didn’t go in.
BUT OH BOY, am I glad I did. What an amazing shop. Yes, I bought again.
Third stop was of course, SPOTLIGHT.
There was a sale of 50% off and of course, I bought some more.
Now I just have to use up some of this. It was a busy day and a very hot one too.

Great shopping spree…
Good to buy from real shops when you can!
I've not seen Just Stitchin but it sounds great. I've been to Dragonfly Fabrics though. There was another shop (can't remember name) that sold only fabrics designed by indigenous people of the area.
Don't you just love a shopping spree? I only have online experience, but Dragonfly Fabrics looks amazing, I'd love to visit those stores.
How good to have a day for you. I bought a blue wren wall hanging kit online from Dragonfly, years ago. We didn’t get to visit any quilt shops in Darwin, but I don’t mind.
What a brilliant shop you had! xx
Looks like a wonderful time. 😊
I heard it’s a great shop. And why wouldn’t you buy something ??
