Stitching my travels

This was my first big trip towing our caravan so I thought I would mark the occasion with stitching it on a tea towel

I started with a green sashiko thread for the trip up to Darwin. Marking each overnight stop with a colonial knot.

On the trip home I stitched it in yellow DMC thread. I just used a stem stitch.

What a fabulous idea Jo. Where did you find the tea towel? That's something I could do on our trips. x

Wow, you towed the caravan? I was never brave enough to try that. The embroidered tea towel is a great memory of your trip.
