While looking for some fabric for a different project I came across these leftover blocks. These were from a previous Bonnie Hunters mystery. FROLIC.
So I laid them out to make 4 placemats
They look lovely and bright.
That’s enough of placemats. I reached my goal of 50. Our quilt group has a great pile and are trying to get to 200.
I had a few little pieces left.
Just enough to make 3 pin cushions.
That’s 33 that I have put away for another group activity

Well done Jo, and yes, those are lovely and bright! xx
Well done!
Congratulations Jo! I love the hot pink with the lime green. Sometimes I refer to that pink as 'lime' pink. That way it reminds me that it goes well with lime green. I also understand a 'lime' blue but that is not the blue you have used. It would have been just too much lime.
You must be so pleased to reach your total of 50 placemats, well done.
Thats just amazing Jo - you must be so chuffed. I am not normally a "bright fabric person" but I just love those. xx
Well done! That is a fabulous effort and has been a great scrap busting exercise. What will you do next year?
Great job getting your 50 placemats done and maybe cleaned out some blocks and scraps….
Congratulations. You have made some beautiful placemats this year Jo.
Omg! That is one major achievement. Well done!
I am so impressed! These last four are very colorful and fun!
And I am also impressed that no scrap went unused. Great little pincushions!
