TERMITES
After coming home from our Melbourne trip I noticed some strange markings in my sewing room.
Oh no….😟 TERMITE TRACKS
So I get in the professionals to spray but I had to do a big clean up and check my storeroom. So now that is clean after a couple of days sorting out. And the little dead termites on the floor after being treated. They are like maggots.
I have moved a lot out to my shed. The tubs I only accessed once a year. Xmas decs, costumes, woodwork, laces etc…..
Trouble was is we had a few days of 40 & 41 deg C. It was horrible. Yes, I was up at 6am moving boxes to the shed. This is where we are at now.

What a nightmare for you. Just as well you spotted them when you did. There’s nothing like an emergency to get us to tidy our rooms. I hope your new organising works well for you and you can get back to creating.

Oh how awful for you! And such a lot to do to clean up. Well, a tidy up is always a good thing but not under those circumstances! xx
Oh Jo. What a mess. I had the problem in my garage about a year ago and it is a constant search to find any more. Good luck with your clearing. Look at this as an opportunity to get rid of STUFF. I'll put up some pics of my studio upstairs (also my guest room) soon. BIG MESS. But not because of termites, I've been given a double bed to swap for the single I had up there.

Nasty termites, just as well you got the professionals in to deal with them. That's a who,e lot of crates you have, all full of interesting bits and pieces, I'm sure.
What an ordeal for you Jo. I hope the professionals got rid of them for you. That is a lot of moving of things especially in the heat. xx

Oh dear, I hope all the termites are gone! Such a hot day to be moving boxes!

Lucky you weren't away for 6 months - it would have been a real mess. Were they just in your sewing room? Does not sound fun.
