I dug out my cream scraps and a fun piece of brown mushroom fabric to make my next block.
G7 pattern from Susan Gatewood is printed for for and I’m ready
The block is sewn, quilted and sashing put on.
The blocks in this row have been sewn together as well as the backing strip.
Next on to block H7. This one I just pieced. No papers needed. Quilted and sashes on too.
And here they are altogether so far

Two nice blocks - good to have that row put together. xx
Love how the mushroom disappears but the variety in colors is there.
These are really just so lovely, Jo;)))) And the quilting is beautifully done on them, too!! Nice work hugs, Julierose
Your DJ blocks are growing nicely.
They are looking good together. The QAYG method seems to be working well and will take a LOT of work off at the end.
Great blocks Jo, great to have them joined together already.
Didn't realize you had determined to do the QAYG method. Looking good. You are doing an excellent job on the quilting. And I love the star with the tiny star in the middle!!
Great blocks and they look good sewn into a row.
The mushroom fabric works well ... lovely blocks.
Looking great.
You’re making great progress. Who’d have thought to use mushroom fabric in a Dear Jane. It works.
Sounds like a great idea to be QAYG....intersting how those mushrooms work.
