The best thing is I searched my stash and didn't need to buy anything. BONUS....
I found this fabric, used a scrap of wadding and found a piece of flannelette for the back...
Cute fabric, basted with the template drawn on in frixion pen...
Then I got to the sewing. Within an hour and a half I had 9 bibs completed. Basted, pattern drawn, overlooked and Velcro stitched on... Well worth it. These will become a basic item for any baby gifts I give in the future. They were super easy...... I reversed some so they weren't all the same pattern...With the wadding in them hopefully they will absorb a little more dribble.

I will see what the DIL thinks of them before I make more in case I need to make some alterations.
I used Velcro dots for the fasteners and I am not sure that they will be good enough. Time will tell..
But look at these gorgeous guys.

LOOK AT THESE CHEEKY GUYS, . WHAT ARE THEY THINKING.
Look who they have to protect now.
This was so funny to see.

Bibs are lovely but that last photo beats anything else - so much can be read into those looks!!
The bibs are really cute and turned out so well. Your family photos are wonderful.
Gorgeous photos of the new Bub with Pa and her Daddy!! Those bibs look fabulous. How would studs go as a fastener ???
Madeleine is such a little cutie pie! Congrats! I'm rather fond of the name as my maternal grandmother (we shared a birthday) was named Madeline :)
The cheeky dudes are gonna have their hands full!
Great photos! From the looks on their faces, Madeline won't be able to date till she's 30. The bibs are fun. What a great way to use up a few left overs and make a nice gift in the process.
The Bibs even seem easy to make and will be very useful.
Congratulations on your beautiful granddaughter!
Hugs!
