The exhibition committee decided to decorate the hall with pre 1980 dresses. WOW what a display they did. The foyer and entrance was set up beautifully.
I don’t know where everyone was hiding their clothes but they sure did pull out some oldies. There were kids, ladies, crochet and a wedding dress. Have a look at all these and go back into your past.
The bride, mother in law and bridesmaid.
I would wear this one now too.
This was a very pretty dress too.
I love this dress and would even wear it now.
Who remembers the crochet era. Wasn’t good for the bikinis though..
Maxine even got into the theme and wore her dress.
Next up will be a post with some quilt entries.

What a great idea to include previous fashions.
The ladies did put on a nice display of dresses. I agree, some would still look lovely today…….if I could fit into them.
Who'd have thought the 1980s are considered antique! I know PH most definitely still has some clothes from then in his closet!
What a fantastic display and great idea.
Great display. I don't remember any of those fashions but I was only wearing jeans, T shirts and hippy skirts back them as a domestic Goddess and mum.
gish - brings back a few memories - a great idea - possibly a bit of Op Shop shopping happening??
Great idea to include with the show. So many beautiful dresses.
What a fun idea! The dresses must have sparked some conversations amongst the visitors.
You have some creative minds in your quilt group. The entrance display looks fantastic.
