Tony is coming home Wednesday. It will be a complete life change for me. I have finished work to become his full time carer. He is not to be left alone at this stage so it will be a learning curve for me.
This will be a 24/7 job.
He is not happy in hospital, not eating well and feeling a bit depressed. Hopefully things will change once he is home.

I’m sure Tony will be much happier at home with your loving care. 🤗
Fantastic news. I do hope that once he is home his recovery continues. I'm sure his mood and appetite will lift and that is a good thing. You'll do just fine and will settle in to new routines before you know it.
Thinking of you today as Tony comes home, it will be a complete lifestyle change Jo, but am sure you will cope and Tony will feel much better out of hospital, that room would have made anyone depressed.
From one caregiver to another, try to remember to be kind to yourself and take care of yourself. It's easy to forget when you are caring for someone elses's every need. May the Good Lord be with you and help you both. :-)
Hopefully Tony improves with the change of scenery & care.
I wish you well...not an easy job.
That is great news and I hope he thrives at home. Best wishes. xx
Oh, Jo, I wish you strength and love. Tony will be happier at home but could be struggling, too, with his new lot in life. Above all, take care of yourself. It's rule number one for caregivers. Sending hugs and prayers for you both.
Oh, I hope you will be able to carve out some time for yourself. Will there be a caregiver for you? Will there be someone to help lift Tony? I, too, send hugs and prayers.
I’m sure you will both be happy to be away from the hospital environment. It will be a huge adjustment for you both, but you will be able to support each other. Wishing you both all the best.
Sending hugs and prayers for the both of you as you work towards this massive change. I expect the hospital has organised services to come and help and to also give you some respite 💗🩵🧡💜
good news jo....yes your TLC will make a big difference...
Hope everything is going well now that hubby has been home for a few days. Are you receiving some home nursing or some other physical assistance? Although difficult, try to look after yourself as the carer is often overlooked. Hugs .
Hope all is going well for you and Tony, I hope he is much happier at home, it is a huge lifestyle change for you both. As Ondrea says don't forget to look after yourself too.
I am very excited for the both of you. I hope all went well on Wednesday.
I missed this news as I have been away on holiday. Hope all is going well for you both, and you are also getting some assistance from professionals and family. Best wishes for this new life!
