It’s a Sunday spent slow stitching with the air con on. Another 37 degrees day and no appointments.
Tony is progressing well. Doing more exercises. He actually was able to walk to the end of the court today. That is 3 house blocks away.
I have finished the stitching on day 6 of my advent calendar. I didn’t really enjoy this stitching as I wasn’t sure of the thread colour but I am warming to it.
Day 3 project was at a standstill. I ran out of thread. I finally looked through my threads and settled on this darker cranberry.
I finished the stitching and made the loop
Now to machine sew both projects into their finished items.
This covers me for my Chookshed challenge mid month and Slow Stitching Sunday

Those flowers are lovely, will be nice to see how both projects finish up. xx
Great news about Tony. Long may it continue. Your stitching projects look lovely.
That's quite an achievement for your Toby after his surgery, you must be so proud of him.
Very pretty stitching, Jo. I love the variegated flowers.
Perfect projects for inside on a Sunday. The variegated thread turned out well. That’s great news about Tony. So pleased he is making good progress now.
Your stitchery looks wonderful Jo. I am pleased to read that your husband is making some progress. Take care Jo. xx
Wow! You certainly are in a heat wave! Your stitching is lovely and the colors are pleasing to my eye..soft with a bit of pop! Day 3’s project caught my eye at Kathy’s Quilts – it’s very well done!
Lovely stitching Jo, great news about Tony walking more.
