Continuing with my clean up piles I finished off some placemats.
And a Xmas zippered placemat
I have put a napkin and cutlery in the pocket. This one is for me to use.
Then the smaller scraps
were made into pin cushions.
They are good to put a few binding clips on and your sewing needle when stitching your bindings or other hand projects.
I want to get about 40 of these made by December. I am well on the way. I have about 14 already. I will continue to make these with the leftovers of other projects. It’s a finish up year…

Great use of your scarps - some lovely fabrics in there. xx
You’re on a roll. Great ideas for your scraps.
all very cute and functional projects...finishing up stuff is so gratifying...
Great way to use up leftovers. I have one of those handy pin cushions and use it every time I sit at my machine.
These scrappy projects look great good on you
Well done on your finishes, I particularly like the Christmas place mat.
How clever are those pin cushions to have somewhere for the clips, love it!
Great progress Jo & I love the placemat with the pocket for cutlery. I am thinking these would make a great individual gift & you can pick up really nice cutlery for a song at the thrift shops. xx
The placemats and pin cushions have turned out so well. Good luck with reaching your target.
I love the fabric with the ladies on it. Cute placemats. I still have the Aussie one you made me.
