While on my trip to Tasmania I came across some beautiful tiled floors.
I am going to try and make a quilt replicating this one.
I found it on the doors step of the old Savings Bank in Hobart..
It is a beautiful design.
Then we went to the old Cascade Brewery.
In the front entrance in front of the fire place was this design
And in the foyer , covered by a rug, was this beauty.
I could only get a corner of it though.

Beautiful! I like the tiles form the savings bank, which I think were inspired by Mediterranean influence. The other ones from the brewery look a bit more modern with the essentially square format and vibrant colors. I can just imagine the look of the whole floor. Thanks for sharing those awesome photos!
