BUSH FIRES

We are at risk with the nearby fires.
It was supposed to be a controlled burn off that is now out of control.
There are many trucks helping, choppers dropping water and roads blocked off.
High alert notifications, schools evacuated.
And very high winds.
Fingers crossed for everyone during the next 24 hours or more..

These photos are taken from my house...

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your neighbours, I hope all goes well, this wind is shocking, I'm in NE Vic and it's been blowing hard all day. Best Wishes Lizzi xo

Oh Jo, that looks way too close. Hopefully they get it all under control soon and you don't have to evacuate and that your home is not at risk.

Oh Jo, this is very frightening, too close for comfort. Hope all will be controlled today. There are always quite a few fires over Spain each year, destroying acres of land and unfortunately mostly started by careless people
