Today should have been my sons 29th birthday.
On our trip home last month we needed to stop for fuel. This was at a small town called Lockhart.
There were a few displays of iron work, a beautiful horse and cart on a centre island and the beautiful painted silos.
Unfortunately there was a large tree and a building close to this painting soi had to walk around and take a lot of photos to get all the pictures.

The tower mural is stunning. (((Hugs)))
What a beauty that water tower is!
What an interesting place to stop.
Lockhart is a lovely little town. We visited once years ago. It sounds like we should return to see all the changes.
I'm finally able to comment (on some blogs - although Norton is blocking some of the blogs) - I know Lockhart very well and we have passed through it many many times..... not tooo far away from where we live these days in Corowa
Looks like a lovely town. Thanks for taking us on a tour.
Great pics Jo, had to google where LOckhart is, in case it's a town we will go through, but it seems like it won't be on our way. Thinking of you, each milestone is not easy.
So much incredible art--the ironworks, and the silo mural. I love it all, but the silo has me gobsmacked!
Days that commemorate the ones we have loved and lost are bittersweet. A tender day for you.
Beautiful artworks. May all your memories be fond ones.
Great photos, Jo. Another birthday, don’t the years fly by? Hope your visit to Lockhart helped you through the day.

Is John's birthday really the day you posted this on the 3rd? As it's also Clancy's 1st birthday. I didn't realise this last year when we were together just after......HUGS.......
The art in this post is stunning and very interesting to admire.
Sending you late hugs but hugs none the less.
