Slow Sunday Stitching

i went to the NOTY quilt show yesterday with a friend. There was a lovely display af quilts. Made by hand and machine, quilted by each person and also professionally. Lovely fabrics and designs.

SUNDAY.
My Sunday was spent finishing off a special MAGIC NEEDLE CASE.
I am still sewing on the beads. The X stitch was done linking up with

This needlecase has had a lot of interest.
My pattern is a very old hand written one from a class I did years ago.
Here is a you tube link for a tutorial making something similar.
It shows the basic idea and you adapt it to any size.
I used ric rac or ribbon instead of elastic, added felt for the needles to go in. I stitched the edges with glove stitch using embroidery floss and then I added a round of beads to bling it up.

Very nice! I have been bumbling along by placing my needles in a piece of batting to carry around with me. I think I need to make a needle case.
