My Friday night was spent with my daughter doing a little machine & hand stitching. Spending time together was the best and more important.
We were celebrating my anniversary on Thursday and my birthday on Saturday. It was a good time spent together....

Happy anniversary and Happy birthday Jo. Lovely work.
What a lot you sewed in one day. Very impressive! Love the casserole carrier. I saw one of these a few years ago at my NZ Quilting Group when one of the group was making one. Such a neat idea.
Happy BIrthday! I love your scrappy yellows! The curved log cabin has gone on my to-try list!!
loving the yellow scrappines!
Hope you had a great birthday yesterday..
oh and happy anniversary too..
Happy anniversary and happy birthday. I really like how your curved log cabin is turning out. Great job!
My husband's birthday is the day before our anniversary - fun to celebrate - hope you enjoyed yours! (Your casserole carrier is excellent - and I love the curved log cabin)
Great work. Enjoy your celebration.
Wow! Two celebrations days apart and still time for quilting. The log cabin blocks have such nice movement.
Your curved log cabin in beautiful!
Happy Birthday/Anniversary Jo, love all your scrappy finishes :) Barb.
Great yellow projects! What fun!
Love the log cabin block. That is going to be such a beautiful quilt when it's all together.
Love your yellow casserole carrier - something I should think about as we head into Autumn in New Zealand.
Happy anniversary! Love your scrappy yellow projects!!!
How wonderful to stitch with your daughter! Yellow is my favourite colour so of course I love your projects.
I see yellow tulip when I look at your yellow log cabin blocks!
Not sure what you mean by curved log cabin? It looks straight, but it also looks like thin strips too!
I'm a Log Cabin fan, Marsha, and the curve is because when you view it from a distance, it appears to be rounded vs. a straight side. It's easier to see if you have several of them together. Just a fun variation.
Jo, so glad you could link up with the Pet Project Show this past weekend. I am late on my thank yous, but most sincere. A very happy birthday and anniversary to you, too. Glad you had time to sew.
