For anyone that has seen the movie, PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT, you will love this.
No trip to Broken Hill is worth it if you don't venture into the PALACE HOTEL.
This is the hotel where they filmed part of the movie. The scene where all the walls were painted with murals. So much fun. It has brought fame to this old country outback town. It gets promoted as BROKEN HEEL. enjoy the photos..

This post requires LOTS of photos. Amazing place. I bet you loved just standing there staring at the walls - hey not many hotels can boast about that! I haven't seen or heard f the movie. Maybe I'll be able to find it and watch it.
