More hand quilting with PERLE thread

The weather is been very hot this week and today is 38 and tomorrow will be 43. I have still tried to do a little bit of hand quilting. So I didn't have my quilt draped over me I thought I would start quilting the border. When it is quilted I will put the binding on. Then no wadding will spread and the edges won't get damaged.
I have also stay stitched the edge so that all those seams wouldn't pull apart.
Anyway, here is my little progress.

Quilting the borders

We're having the same temperatures today - only ours are in Fahrenheit rather than Celsius! 8)
Love your quilting! I hope the heat lets up before you finish those borders.

Your quilt is looking good. We are having weather here also... around 50F which is good as we are expecting a Nor'easter tomorrow and it will be a whole lot of rain instead of a massive amount of snow. Enjoy your stitching.

I know, it has been so hot here in Oz and then terrible storms! Not good! Great progress for FNSI, my dear.
