Quilt top is finished

It has been a good journey making this top.  I had it all planned then my friend wanted it a bit bigger. Extra borders were needed. That's easy just add some more fabric. Luckily I had extra white. Everything was enough. Just needed to recalculate.
Straight sashing Borders are getting sewn.
I had to add the white and another pink border to bring it up to a bigger size quilt.
I'm very happy with it..
Extra sashing borders are on.

Piano key borders using the leftovers are on. It's a great size.  69" * 95".. I'm happy.
Design no 2 looks lovely with borders

It looks fantastic with the extra borders. I always love a piano key border for using up scraps!

What a nice finish! (And long!) The aqua blue gives it a nice shot of color. And I love the borders. The piano keys were a perfect choice. Nice work!

a delight, the piano keys add so much and such a good way of extending the wuilt to the size you want not tried to do those afraid I tend to use plain borders if I do a border at all your friend must be thrilled with what you have done

The solid borders and then the Piano keys borders look great. That's a huge quilt! Are you going to quilt it on your sewing machine? That would be a big job.
