Wow... Spur of the moment hubby and I decided we needed some time for us. So, I get some time off work, pack a bag, make a few phone calls, jump on the bike and we are off.
We leave home at 7am & 30+ deg.. head for Wagga Wagga. Stop for lunch and a cold beer. Hours of riding in 40 deg heat. It's now 38 at 2pm.
And the best part was meeting my brother and catching up for the next few days together. Just to be out in the open air, on the bike, with my husband and brother. What is better than that.

Sounds like a fun vacation! I'm not sure I would last that long on a bike, though. Glad you had such a great time!
What a great adventure Jo! Love those paintings - they truly are amazing!

What a great weekend!
That's a long ride and you managed to catch up with different folk and see lots of fabulous places ..
Hmm I couldn't sit on the back of a bike for that far, rather the car and caravan...must be getting old...😁
Amazing painted silos....
What a fantastic trip you had, seeing so many different places. Love the silos at Brim, I hope to visit them one day.
Oh Jo, what a wonderful trip. My husband Nad I got a bike and we haven't used it much yet. It makes me anxious to do so. I loved your pictures and hearing about your stops. Those silos are so amazing. I don't know a lot about Australia so I hadn't heard of them. The ocean is also so beautiful. There is not much water where I live here on the desert.
What an awesome trip, and you managed to squeeze a lot into four days. I think the best beer I ever had was after a hot day riding!
wow that sure is a lot of kms and scenes in a short space of time.........
What a great distance you covered in four days. Motor bikes frighten me so I have never been on one . Glad you enjoyed your impromptu trip. Good for you both.
