We had our grandson sons visit. So I taught them to have. A play with the sewing machine. They loved it.
They were just playing around with scraps. There is an idea going around. If they come again and want to continue we will have some finishes.
They did a really good job.Not bad for 10 & 12 year olds….

My mother-in-law had my son over for a long weekend each summer. She taught him to sew. They made pillows and stuffed animals. He still has all of the things they made together. They mean the world to him. So glad you could share some sewing fun with your grandsons. Happy stitching! -Andrea
How wonderful!
A maths lesson, development of hand eye co-ordination and fine motor skills....well done grandma.
Thats fantastic bonding with your grandies. Glad they enjoyed it.
Wonderful the boys have been with you and well done on the sewing.
The boys look like they are totally engrossed. I hope the project gets completed. It must have been fun having them join you in your favourite place.
My son used to sew from time to time when he was that age. He even did a bit of embroidery. Not anymore though.
That's fantastic!
A great way to spend time with your grandsons. They have grown heaps…..
Good to see the boys sewing, my grandsons have always enjoyed their time at the machine. Loved changing the threads and trying out all the cool stitches.
Good to see the grandsons have an interest in sewing and quiltmaking.
