Travelling home and seeing the Windfarms

We were travelling home by ourselves and just enjoying time on the road. It was amazing to see the outback, the space and fascinating wind turbine farms. They are huge. Don’t mind the photos being a bit mixed up.

Stunning views
Windfarms in the distance
There are so many
Ongoing road works
Wind farms so far away
The roadworks went on for kilometres. They extended our days trip by more than an hour. We were so over it. South Australia had so much road worksite was annoying.

We always seem to have plenty of ongoing roadworks over here too.

I find wind farms fascinating too. Travelling makes you realsie how vast Aus is. Roadworks really slow you down a lot.

Such expansive views! Love seeing the wind farms. In fact, I just remembered that I did swapped mini quilts with Raewyn a few years ago and the one I made her was called Wind Farm. :) Always hard to enjoy a road trip that is interrupted with lots of road work.

The joys of travel, spotting wind farms and never ending roadworks. All part of the adventure.

Roadworks can be frustrating, i wish they would finish one bit properly before they sysrt another, but i guess there is a reason for the way its done, plenty of turbines to see, must be windy country, not many around this area

We have similar landscape here in eastern Oregon, USA, that is popping up with myriads of wind farms and solar farms as well.
