My weekends sewing time and a finish.

I started this on Friday night...
I've been super excited to get into some sewing.
I am making this for a new born little girl.
My design wall has worked well.
All the blocks were sashed and borders on..
THE TOP IS DONE.

Now for Saturday
It is 37 degrees here today and I'm outside basting this baby quilt.
It needs to be done . As I am using spray basting glue it's best used outside

And then on Sunday
All quilted and bound and I'm very happy

Look at this sweet backing fabric.
Just perfect

And it's finished

Oh it's so sweet Jo... well done on doing that basting outside in the heat! It will be well-loved I'm sure.

Beautiful quilt Jo, well done for getting it done so quickly, it must have been uncomfortable out in the heat.

Yay Yay Yay - a lovely baby quilt finish! I would love to be outside basking in the sun while basting a quilt. The wind blows a ton where I live. It would be kind of crazy to sew anything outside.

Who is the lucky baby girl?
