Well on Saturday at the retreat I did work with my scrap pinks.
Then I started sewing them together again.
And I end up with these lovely placemats.

Great looking placemats - I haven't seen them made with a zip before but that is a fun idea....especially for picnics/outdoor settings etc.

Looking good, zips and all! A lit of us are a bit frightened of stitching zips in place, sadly.

Such a fun way to use up scraps! I really like that zipper pocket.
What a fun zipper detail. They will be so handy for keeping everything together. I can imagine rolling them up and being ready for a picnic.
