First up this weekend was block no. 42. This one took some time.
Fabric was chosen and pattern was drawn on.
Foundation pieces were sewn together and well ironed
Then trimmed.
Second block was started in softer pink and green. Block no. 7 had a lot of half square triangles. I make them 8 at a time. I can then trim them down.
Quarters ready to piece together
All sewn together.
The wall display is growing.

Lovely blocks.
Growing nicely.
This is going to be just exactly what I like, those 30's prints. I could look at this all day.
Great so far & the display is growing well. Stay cool in this heat, take care & hugs.
Lovely blocks in such pretty colours.
Gosh they look amazing Jo. Just love all the fabrics. That fruit basket block reminds me a bit of one I am familiar with called "bears paw".
I have a question for you ... your circular cutting board .. is it rotating? It looks like its on a Lazy Susan type of thing?
A lovely collection of blocks growing there.
Excellent job! Looking really good so far.
I make my HSTs 8 at a time, as well. When you need more than a couple, it's the only way to go!
Looking good. It’s worth taking the time to get everything accurately pieced and pressed, with such small pieces. This is going to be so pretty.
I've never done foundation piecing before but i would like to try it one day. Your quilt is looking great
Super cute block and rotary cutter!
