My Beach Postcard

I have recently joined a postcard swap with Sheila at http://sheilasquiltworld.blogspot.com.au.
My partner was Eglea from      http://www.jeitomineirobordados.com.br
Here is my interpretation of the BEACH
I ENJOYED MAKING THIS POST CARD
I loved adding the beads. Now, when I look at the photo, I see that the whale looks like it is floating in mid air. I thought that all the blue was to be the sea but it doesn't really look like that at all.
I am still very happy with my work. I hope that Eglea is too.
Have a look at Eglea's blog

Just heard from Eglea.
She loves it....

I am still waiting for mine to turn up.......

What a fabulous Bech Postcard Jo. Eglea's postcard will arrive. It just takes a few weeks. She was my swap partner for Easter once and she makes awesome postcards. Worth the wait.

Super beach postcard! I see you have added some Crazy Patchwork style lines of embroidery. The tumbling wave and surf is very effective.

That's a cool beach scene...makes me think of the Great Ocean Road...mmm, maybe the whale is breaching (is that the right word - you know, when they jump up high out of the water and then splash back down)...
