The LIONS quilt

This quilt was designed for the LIONS club Centenary. It was to represent all that the LIONS do for the community.
I can't remember everything on there but the design and workmanship is amazing.
This was designed by a Kilmore member, Maree.
There are 10 different flowers all representing the countries involved. There was lots to look at.
Maree's the LIONS Centenary quilt.

The dots are the Braille. To represent sight.

1917. When the RSL started
2017 the Centenary
This flower was the eye for sight.

Another butterfly

The butterfly is a symbol for ?

These flowers are to represent the wheels of a wheel chair.

Amazing!!
Could the butterflies stand for recovery, hope or change? As in growing from a caterpillar to crysalis to a beautiful butterfly?!

Think but not sure the butterflies are for deafness. Certainly the deaf foundation uses them as fundraising pins..
