Nishi-Ogikubo Temari Ball Worksop. 8800yen for a 4 hour workshop.

We even got some cookies made for us. Some sweet and some savoury

The Temari ball. Usually made with wheat husks. We made ours on a polystyrene ball so there was no trouble bringing it home.

Choosing threads was hard.

Everyone concentrating.

Our tutor and helpers

Our tutor booked a common local place they go for dinner. Her and hubby joined us.

and wine in a good size glass with ice for $3.50

All they served were chicken skewers for$1.00 each

and all parts of the chicken were served. The heart, liver, intestines, skin and some meat were served.

Cabbage is a salad staple for them.

I went away very full and all for $20. We had great company and so much fun.
The tutor suggested this local place and we all enjoyed it.
