16.11.2023 Out for a traditional dinner - part 2

 We were very lucky to be taken to a traditional restaurant with friends of Janets. (Shoko & John) 

It was amazing. We would not have tried this food if we had to order ourselves. 

Restaurant TORIYOSHI Izakaya at Inokashira park

4800 yen for a set menu + drinks

I cannot remember what we tried but at the end of the night I was very full. It was a set menu for $50

Time to leave through the beautiful garden out the front. This leads on to the road back to the motel.

Best part was that we were only around the corner from our motel.

As no smoking is allowed on the streets of Japan they provide these smoking huts. You wait your turn as there are only a certain amount of people allowed in them at a time. A Hut to go into to smoke away and fill your lungs with cigarette smoke.

Look at this pushbike parking garage. The are just like our car ones. The only difference is, is that they don't lock their bikes.

It is huge and there are a lot of bikes
