Stopping at Inglewood for a walk and lots of photos.

We always said we wanted to stop and look around Inglewood every time we drove through. This was the day.

We were on the way home from Melbourne and needed a rest/stretch/walk. We decided to walk up one side of the street and down the other. As it is a very old town most buildings have a plaque telling you its story. The photos may get a little mixed up but I’ll try my best to sort them out.

I came across this in one of the stores and just had to grab a photo.

It is a lovely little old town.

Nice little town to stretch your legs.
Great to be able to read the history of the buildings on the signs.
So good to see a Hexie quilt of old on display.

OMG! We stopped there after meeting you in Bordertown at the small quilt show. We loved it and will one day go back and have a better look. You certainly saw more than we did and it's lovely refreshing my memory of what was there. Thank you, take care & hugs.

Never heard of it. Now I want to visit. There are so many interesting places when you get out and about. It sounds like a lovely little town. We like nothing better than stopping in little country towns and walking up and down the street, followed by a “wobble tour” driving around the back streets. Thanks for sharing.
