Working on some crochet...

I have picked up mums crochet to do some more....
When I was sorting out mums patterns I actually found the pattern book. It gives the directions for the 4 rows of the pattern, not the size of blanket. That's up to you... Mum has retyped the pattern and stapled in the book so it was easier to read.
Flower Cluster pattern

A weekly subscription craft magazine from 1981. Aust..$1.75

I'm going to keep going until I run out of the green wool I'm using for the stems.. There was no more..
The flower garden is growing

Here is my tension on the left and mums on the right. Yes they are different but with some use I don't think it will really show up. The photos look a bit different. I think it might be the angles I took them on. It really doesn't look too different.
Different tensions

Look here to see when I started it...

  6. Such a fabulous pattern!I've never seen a blanket like this before, so pretty. I couldn't really see much difference in the two tensions. What size did the blanket finish at? Looks like a good baby size to me. Well done, Jo. You certainly don't let the grass grow under your feet!

  10. I think it is wonderful that you are finishing mom's blanket. It is beautiful and it is really difficult to notice the tension difference in the pictures.

  12. Love you crochet flowers, the colorful blanket is so cheerful and I haven't seen a tension difference and it will all fall together when you use it. I have often put aside a crochet project and noticed a slight change when I start again but after everything is complete it does work itself out. I love that you mother retype the pattern to make reading it easier.
