KITCHEN KAPERS SWAP DAY IS HERE....

THIS IS WHAT I SENT SHEZ....
1....... The tea towel was made by a friend and given to my mum.... She also made me one.
Now because Shez is so lovely I wanted her to have it.... Happy memories from MUM....
2....... I ALSO ADDED A CUTE SPATULA WITH A QUOTE. On the other side has cooking measurements.
3....... A cute little HEART COOKIE CUTTER
4....... A cookie
5....... and my all time favourite recipe. EASY XMAS PUDDING..
My gifts without the cookie....

We weren't allowed to add any extras so I made the recipe card extra special....
A FABRIC RECIPE POST CARD....

A fabric recipe postcard.....

This recipe was so well liked many years ago. It is one of my mums and the only Xmas pudding I make. I'm not a fan of some puddings... This can be made days ahead and kept in the fridge. Then warmed in the microwave when needed. It can be cut into individual serves and warmed as needed. It stays moist and my neighbour loved it cold..... We cut it into individual serves, wrap it in glad wrap and freeze it. Then none goes to waste...
My mum even had to give it to her doctor so he could pass it on to some patients. It's great for diabetics. You can add any fruit you want so if there are some you don't like they don't go in... You don't have to add the walnuts. I love them and put them in the steamer first... I also add a packet of glace cherries for my husband as an extra... He always gets the cherries..
It's a special recipe for me and my family...

I have written on the back but I'll leave it up to Shez to show it if she wants.....
No message on the back to show...

It was my turn to open the gift Teresa sent to me...
Aren't I lucky.
It went from this pretty wrapped parcel.

This is my lovely parcel.
Look at the sayings on the tea towel.
HOW TRUE

The theme looks to be pink and blue.
Great spatula I love using, a heart shape cookie cutter.
This  means I have to bake now.
A lovely recipe I will try soon.
A cookie to eat with tonight's cup,of tea. Yummy.....

Have a look here to see what others got.....
